I've been to Folks a few times now and they never disappoint other than the wait. Luckily, there are breweries close by which definitely kill the time but man is the wait long. I think the shortest wait I've had is 1.5 hours on a weekday as I've yet to go on a weekend. They are located in the The Camp in Costa Mesa and if you know the area, parking is pretty atrocious in this plaza. When you finally get seated, this is when the good times start. They only have canned beers, nothing draft but often have a good selection to choose from. I really like their Chopped Salad ($19) and Chicken Wings ($19) as appetizers but tbh, if you're here for the pizza, save your stomachs for that. I've had their Fennel Sausage, Pepperoni, Bianca pizzas and they were all great. Their dough is so good because normally I don't eat the crust, but I devour all of it here. Price wise, it's very fair and there's a reason so many people are always waiting here. Will definitely be back!

Oh man, what can't be said about this place, as I was knee deep in heaven, the pizza comes and kicks you in the face. Eat faster! But slower and more all in the meantime trying not to choke on the flavor-balance. It's indulgence vs trying not to burn yourself. Parking will be an issue if you're not lucky. But that bubble in that crust-- every single one being carried from out the kitchen to the table is like staring at Fred on the catwalk. Yeah, on the catwalk. The fresh and bountiful salad with raw crunchy and watery asparagus- it's unlike any salad I could've made at home. Yet tasting so uncomplicated. I was so busy hurrying chewing, fearing the salad might run away from the table. Lastly I love the way they serve the coffee. In a giant insulated French pressery good for one refill. The extra Marinara sauce was bomb too. Loved that it's not just the red sauce but dressed up and ready for prom. Before the crusts are finished the sauce is ALL gone. We must return! Says I.

Located at The Camp, it's a solid option for dinner but they can get real busy! It can also get kinda pricey and the apps that I got were a little lackluster but hey, the area is a nice vibe so maybe just grab a to go pizza and head over to the brewery Sausage pizza: Get Solid pizza with a good thin, crispy crust Mushroom pizza: Get I personally enjoyed this one better than the above but maybe that's because im a mushroom guy heheheh Fries: Skip They're really flaccid and mostly flavorless haha but not bad if you drench it in their sauces Bread and butter: Skip Unless you really want to have something to soak up alcohol or idk... this is very mid for how much you're paying for it lol. HOWEVER, they do give you basically a vat of the butter which is nice. Food: 6/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 6/10

Absolutely excellent food and service from Folks Pizzeria. The Ceasar salad is without a doubt the best salad I've ever had, and the pizza is unlike any other - fluffy, airy, thick crust and bursting with flavor. I think the pizza is perfect just the way it is, but don't be afraid to order a side of ranch because wow is it tasty. Plan ahead and book a reservation, because this spot is very popular and almost always has a wait, which is understandable. Highly recommend!!!

We had already had dinner, but we were walking past and the food looked and smelled delicious so we ate a second dinner here. We had the Caesar salad and their pepperoni pizza. Two classics and they nailed it. The Caesar was so well seasoned and the bread crumbs in lieu of croutons made every bite crunchy and flavorful. Nice touch with the anchovies on the side (tho super salty so watch out!) The pizza was delicious - the crust has it! Almost pastry-like. Light and crispy. The outdoor ambiance was fun, too. Definitely worth going again!

Me and my boyfriend have been eyeballing this place for a while... and to say the least we ABSOLUTELY LOVED this place! We came on a Tuesday night around 8:30PM & got seated instantly with no reservations. The server was very attentive & kind. The ambiance of this pizza place felt very cozy and warm. This place is definitely great for a date night. We ordered the soppressata pizza & a side of marinara sauce. The soppressata was very crispy and it paired so well with the mix of chili oil, olives and basil. The only thing I didn't like very much was the crust to pizza ratio. Because of the crust to pizza ratio, my bf and I ordered marinara sauce to dip the crust in for extra flavor. I felt like 30% of the pizza slice was all crust. Overall, that doesn't stop me from giving this place a 5 star review. I'd definitely come back and try something different next time!

The best pizza in town, truly! Everything is fresh and handmade and high quality. I love their arancini & Caesar salad to start. You can't go without trying the potato pizza, and my other favorite is the fennel sausage. Don't skip dessert because their budino is phenomenal! It's a natural wine list but I really enjoyed the falenghina or any of their beers. Love you folks!

I recently dined at Folks Pizzeria and ordered their Fennel Sausage Pizza. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but there were some notable aspects to consider. Firstly, attempting to secure a reservation proved challenging due to the restaurant's bustling nature. Despite this, my party managed to secure a table around 5 pm without a prior booking, which was a relief. The Fennel Sausage Pizza, while flavorful, left something to be desired. The crust, unfortunately, was slightly burnt, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. However, the quality of the sausage and other toppings was commendable.
